At meetings throughout the world, if minutes are taken or a record of the meeting, Action Points will be numbered
Then at the next meeting, attendees will refer to the APN ( Action Point Number ) from the previous meeting
Roman Numerals are often given to Action Point Numbers , perhaps as an attempt to inflate their importance
However a meeting with out action points is just talk
Numbering action points for ease of reference is standard practice
Calling Action points APNs is just saving time
